The Sovereign LORD has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. 5 The Sovereign LORD has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away. 6 I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting. 7 Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame. 8 He who vindicates me is near. Who then will bring charges against me? Let us face each other! Who is my accuser? Let him confront me! 9 It is the Sovereign LORD who helps me. Who will condemn me? They will all wear out like a garment; the moths will eat them up. 10 Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on their God. 11 But now, all you who light fires and provide yourselves with flaming torches, go, walk in the light of your fires and of the torches you have set ablaze. This is what you shall receive from my hand: You will lie down in torment.
THE LORD LAID THIS SCRIPTURE UPON MY HEART, AS THE FOUNDATION FOR MINISTRY AND I REALLY THANK HIM FOR THIS PARTICULAR REVELATION..
As I was reading it I began to realize and understand why this chosen scripture befits this ministry for Empowering Young Women. In a nutshell once God is for us who can be against us??? So with the ministry God laid upon my heart not only did He do so but it won’t stop there He will comfort me, give me the strength to carry out this assignment and equip me with the tools to go forward in Ministry. A genuine child of God will only fear God alone and believe that He alone can and will take them through all they face. Isaiah 50:10
Ezekiel 3:8,9 ‘Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces and your forehead strong against their forehead..’ The beauty about knowing God is that He is not a God that contradicts Himself, once He says something He will follow it through consistently from the beginning to the end and that is why I am not shaken because I know the God I’m serving and I know how far I’ve come all thanks to Him. I know what I have endured and how He this helped take me out of it all, I feel the love of my Father in Heaven a forgiving, compassionate, caring, kind Father like no other. Father I love you and for all you’ve done for me words can’t even begin to describe it but I do know one thing that a life without you is a life not worth living. There is no love in the world like that of our Father in Heaven’s love, nothing or anyone comes close.
As it says in Romans 8:33 ‘who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies..’
Love this verse as it clearly states those who try to bring condemnation to God’s children shall not prevail. Great is in the truth and it will always prevail. Who dares to be an enemy to those whom He is a friend to, or contends with? No one or nothing can overcome God, once God has spoken He shall see you through, obstacles will come but once God be for us who can be against us that will overcome us??
The tongue ~~ I pray that my tongue will continue to share the word which is the TRUTH we all need to constantly feed on, to live the right way.... God’s way. He who believes shall be saved and He that trusts in God shall be comforted. Most importantly those who walk with faith even in darkness, truly believe that come what may God will always be there to help them. Even if He does not answer they will still hold on with patience. We may walk in darkness for sometime but he that believes not shall be damned, though for a while he walk in light of his own fire, yet he shall lie in sorrow.. Basically do not doubt God or give up when things get tough. Just because He is not there at that moment in time doesn’t mean He doesn’t want to and won’t help you. That’s the devil playing with you wanting you to give up but that is not our portion. It can be said that those who hang on are good people who genuinely know God as opposed to bad people who became impatient, gave up and did things their own way.
The mouth~~ is very important He gave to Christ the tongue of the learned to speak a word in the seasons for comfort of those that are weary and heavily laden under burden of sin. As it states in Matthew 11:28 ‘Come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.’ Grace was poured unto his lips and they are said to drop sweet smelling myrrh.
It is important to have fresh supplies of divine grace to free us from the bad we face daily. So as the tongue is very important to use, to speak to God and prophesy goodness into our lives, it’s been said that in the morning our spirit is most lively, with that time being the best time to have the best frame of mind before starting the day- both to speak and to hear from Him also. Luke 21:38 ‘Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.. .’ His voice shall we hear in the mornings with obedience and full attention to adhere to all that He says to us.
The ears ~~~the ears are also very important especially when receiving instruction from God. God will always comfort us and speak properly and plainly to us to guide our path to overcome all that comes our way. Because to be qualified for the work He wants us to do we must be willing to hear and obey in everything but not to pick and choose what we want to hear. We are all anointed daughters and sons of God to carry out His work and along the way, God will ensure we are equipped to keep on going He will never leave us half way, but what He has started in our lives He shall complete. God shows time and time again He is able to save the willing and able, just as Isaiah was a prophet doing God’s work so shall we too be an example to others doing what God has called us to do. TO BE A LEADER ONE MUST FIRST BE A LEARNER ABLE TO CLIMB THE LADDER TO THEIR APPOINTED POSITION. We must be upright, our ears need to be wakened and we need to have something said to rouse us, to awaken us out of our spiritual slumbers morning after morning after morning..
What I love about Isaiah was that He was so willing to do what God had called Him to do with patience and obedience to work, but only as God had called Him to. In the midst of his struggles of the enemies striking to put him to shame he still stood firm through it all. The confidence of Isaiah was the success in his undertaking. To say ‘If God was helping me, if He will justify me, will stand by me and take me out, will I never be ashamed.’ He faced a great deal of difficulty and discouragement, took the pain and still did his work as a servant of God. He emptied himself to become humble, patient and obedient whilst suffering doing His Fathers work. Through it all he wasn’t discouraged and continued working for God, a good will to the work and service of God, from the grace of God.
1 Timothy 3:16 ‘Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine, continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.’ Isaiah was not a blasphemer, nor a deceiver but he was justified as he did to keep on going with God’s work in his life. Job 16:10 ‘They gape at me with their mouth, they strike me reproachfully on the cheek, they gather together against me.’ But yet he still stayed strong in Christ and did what God expected him to do. Didn’t hide his face from the mockery and reproaches of man to him, he was submissive to God and that is what is important to remember. To do what God has called us to do we have to be willing to give our all and not half hearted ways. Because when God is there for us it’s not just twice in a week but 24/7 He really does protect, comfort and take care of his own.
One thing I have learnt along the way is that God is not a God who will force Himself on you, He has given us all the free will to live as we want, but the ones who call on Him and give themselves to Him 100%, are the same people who made the right choice. With knowing God it is a journey, passing through the earth facing obstacles, hardship, wrong people, various experiences etc. Leading to our eternal homes in Heaven, so it is important to keep in mind that what we do here on earth the effect of that will be where we end up, and I pray and believe to make it to Heaven. Once you know what is expected of you and hold God close, that will help pave the way to greatness the right way. Without God we cannot succeed no matter how hard you might try to make it.
Obedience, patience, faith, prayer, fasting, praise and worship, meditating on His word, believing in Him, are all a good start to knowing about God and who you are in Christ, we all have a purpose to fulfil and so it is important to seek God more daily to be able to locate it.
One who fears the Lord with fear that stands in awe of His majesty and afraid of incurring His displeasure, to obey His voice and carry out His good works is what obedience is all about.
THE NAME OF THE LORD IS MY STRONG TOWER. WITH ALL THIS SAID IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DISCERN WHAT REALLY IS FROM GOD AND WHAT IS NOT FROM GOD IN ORDER TO DO HIS WILL THE BEST WAY. AS IT SAYS IN JOHN 7:17 ‘IF ANYONE WILLS TO DO HIS WILL, HE SHALL KNOW CONCERNING THE DOCTRINE, WHETHER IT IS FROM GOD OR WHETHER I SPEAK ON MY OWN AUTHORITY..’ SO ALWAYS BE SURE TO PRAY WHEN IN DOUBT OVER WHAT YOURE SUPPOSED TO DO AND HOW TO KNOW ITS REALLY GOD SPEAKING TO YOU.. BE CAREFUL TO NOT BE LED ASTRAY.
LIKE I ALWAYS SAY IF NOT FOR GOD I DONT KNOW WHERE I WOULD BE, FROM BAD SITUATIONS GOD TOOK ME OUT OF THEM HELPED ME OVERCOME THEM, GAVE ME PEACE AND AN AWESOME VISION, FROM THE BAD CAME THE GOOD. GOD REALLY IS A MASTER PLANNER HE KNOWS BEST.. TRUST IN HIM WHY?? LOOK AT JEREMIAH 29:11 for example ‘For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.’
So help me God to do the best that I can in Ministry. Amen.
HERE ARE SOME OTHER IMPORTANT SCRIPTURES LAID UPON MY HEART FOR MINISTRY..
ISAIAH 52:6 6 Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.”
The beauty of knowing God is that His nature and perfections, along with His faithfulness will ALWAYS, not sometimes but ALWAYS fulfil His promises made. Our God is not a partial God who lies and deceives us, NO!! Unlike the people around you He will say something and keep to His word from the beginning to the end (the Alpha and Omega) and so in Him alone do I trust and keep my focus on, because only with God can I make it in life and not man. He knows every little thing about us and knows what’s going to happen before we know. He is just an awesome wonderful God in who I trust and with Him I know and believe I have what I need.
His power in delivering people out bondage, and the justice in punishing their enemies, is another reason why I’ve learnt to accept that people will hurt you and do your wrong but it is not right to fight evil with evil but leave it to God to handle the battle for you and is your spirit is pure and your heart bears no grudges or that of malicious thoughts He will by all means handle it. Yes we are human and have feelings but there is no use in lowering yourself to the standards of those who do you wrong.
I learnt that a while ago that even though I may want them to be hurt too, it won’t take away what they had initially done to me. So by praying and handing it over to God gave me peace and strength to overcome it all. It is not easy, and patience and renewal of thoughts is essential to try to work on getting through it. But always remember God knows best and will by all means handle them in His own time, not yours.
TRUST IN GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART... From this verse one can say that it is said that the people of God are delivered from the antichristian slavery bondage, and when Babylon is fallen, that all the promises God has spoken are yea and amen. Another reminder that with God He keeps His promises and never goes back on His word, once it has been said will come to pass.
ISAIAH 60-1:3 60 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
Light has come and so God tells His people to respond to it and arise and shine, whenever God calls us with obedience we must always respond to His call.
After the thick and desperate darkness described in Isaiah 59:9-10, this is the glorious rescue from the redeemer. The wonderful works of our Almighty God, He really does care and protect His own through the good times and the bad times He is with us, never lose hope. Remember at times to get to the blessings we will be put through tests, why? Because God wants to see if really we are spiritually mature, ready and able to handle what it is He wants to bless us with. If we aren’t quite ready He will simply hold onto it and when He is sure we are capable will bless us with it. Because we have shown we are ready, willing and prepared.
We receive God’s light and then we have a service to put forth. We can’t shine until our light has come, and so once our light shines we must share it all over.
In darkness there is no joy, but misery and slow movements, laying down in sorrow, whereas in light you rise and do good and your light shines brightly for all to see. When the act of God comes we must follow through and obey at all times.
As there is no earthly light this is the light that emanates from the glory of the Lord. The light of God in transfiguration was indeed special when His face shone like the sun and His clothes were white as light (Matthew 17:2). Such a lovely picture to imagine and why it is soo important to act on God’s calling for your life to not miss it.
Gentleness shall come to your light, when the Lord lifts up His glorious light over Israel, the gentiles nations shall see it and be attracted to the light. Even the kings will all be attracted. This was ultimately fulfilled in the millennial Kingdom of God, when Israel was lifted upon nations. Be ready for when God wants to lift you higher than ever before and more importantly do so in a humble way, for what God gives He can as well take away from us.
MATTHEW 5:16 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
‘LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN’:
That the light of the gospel which He had communicated to the disciples, was via spiritual knowledge of the mysteries of grace, which He has favoured them with, were to be openly declared and made manifest before men. To keep in mind as stated before the light within them was not to be kept for their own private use, but for the public good of mankind.
When God blesses you, do not keep it to yourself share it and make a difference, because you are uniquely called it is important to do it to the best of your ability like no other. Serve Him giving your all and not some of you.
‘THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS’: Zeal, plainness and openness, their sincerity, faithfulness, integrity, courage, diligence and industry in preaching the gospel was strict and nothing but the truth, honouring Christ and reaching out to many souls with the doctrine of grace. Doing God’s work the best way they knew how and that is what was important and still is for us today. Do not do the work half heartedly but to give your all and lean on God to help guide you and strengthen you.
‘AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN’: Ministration of Gospel has been blessed for illumination of minds of men, through conviction of the state and their regeneration, conversion, sanctification and comfort. May we give praise to God and bless His name for qualifying and sending the Gospel ministers to show unto them the way of salvation. Praise God. Very important to take away from this is that the word was made and is made useful to them and us for communicating spiritually with God, in turn giving life, joy and comfort to us all. God is too good and the Bible is our blueprint in life our manual to show us how to live and how to stay on the right path to reach our individual destinations.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
‘Before I formed you in the belly I knew thee’:
He knows all the people well before their conception and birth. He has a special love and affection, He knows them that are His and pre destined them into eternal life. That is one thing I love and find fascinating about God’s works and how He loves us all so dearly.
‘BEFORE THOU COMES FORTH OUT OF THE WOMB I SANCTIFIED THEE’: By separating Him in His eternal purposes and decrees to the offices of a prophet before He was born and even before the world began, just as apostle Paul was separated for the Gospel of God (Romans 1:1).
‘I ORDAINED THEE A PROPHET UNTO THE NATIONS’: Not to the Israelites only, but to others who went against the word or lacked understanding who God really was. Ordained of Him to be a prophet was done in eternity, in the mind and thought of God, He was foreordained to this office before the foundation of the world, of which a declaration was made unto Him when He was now called into it.
The beauty of God and His work is just soo amazing; do not miss your calling for things of the world. Whatever is not of God doesn’t last and isn’t worth it because all good things come from God.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
