HELP ME IM A MESS - INTERNAL STRUGGLES (PART TWO).

Hey everyone,

Trust you are all well

Internal battles are very dangerous and I know this very well, the internal struggles within that you do not hand over to God can do more damage than good, that is why I encourage self-checks and honesty and transparency with God – because there are times we may not always want to be open with people but we shouldn’t take that same stand point with God ever.

He created us and knows all our struggles so there is no need to try to hide anything from Him. I want to encourage you with this to know that no two days are the same, life will get tough and at times the thought of giving up seems sweeter than carrying on. But in the midst of it all we must ensure that we are surrendered to God and that any open wounds that have gone unseen must be given to God, because we are not only punishing ourselves but also those around us.

Heavy with issues but saying you are fine, does no one but only you harm. So rise above the mask lifestyle and give all to God, your hurts, your struggles, your pain. Be free – be healed – be joyful and at peace.

I had father wounds that needed healing and did struggle internally for some time and though I thought I was okay circumstances that took place caused me to sit up and really face my character and get healing and since coming out of that this year, I have never looked back.

HELP IM A MESS – INTERNAL STRUGGLES (PART ONE).

Hey everyone,

Trust you are all well

Today we will be speaking on the internal struggles within; we can all agree that we live in a society which likes to make people act and feel as though they need to have everything together and cant show that there will be bad days and trying times.

The danger of wearing masks is that you ignore the danger signs of what needs work within; to help you improve and get better because you are living a life that is a fantasy and not the actual reality. When there are wars going on within you, you find that you internalise a lot and take things out on people, you live in denial and always assume that you are fine no matter what.

What we do not face now, we will have to face again sometime later and it could be worse at that moment, compared to the moment you realised it and ignored it. No one is perfect and life happens, but we need to act and apply on self-care to be able to be healthy internally and externally with what we take in and bring out into our environment.

The errors of overlooking something internally is that you will always point fingers at others, judge and think you are okay when in actual fact you are the problem. You are the toxic person and you need the work done on you. That is why it is so important to repent and heal, we are God’s masterpieces, He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago, as it states in Ephesians 2:10

Your character needs work, and if you do not address the internal battles within and carry the baggage how can God trust you, if you keep what He wants to work on and bless you through it?

THE DANGER OF ANGER

Hey everyone,

Trust you are all well

Today we will be speaking about the danger of anger; before we begin we will be using the scripture below as reference-

Ephesians 4:26 ‘And don’t sin by letting anger control you, don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.’

The bible speaks clearly on anger, we are humans and we are all bound to get angry, life happens, people say and do things to try to push our buttons, and we aren’t perfect and are emotional beings. But in all of that it takes maturity to be able to not make and take decisions when you are angry, upset or sad.

Because more times you will look back and wish you had responded and made those decisions with a sound mind and clarity to act wisely. When you are in a good space, internally healthy and at peace things will fall into place and make sense.

Let us break down this scripture into manageable pieces-

‘AND DONT SIN BY LETTING ANGER CONTROL YOU’ – Anger has the stronghold over you to control you to do things you wouldn’t do if you were of sound mind and calmness, it will make you do things in that very moment that when you come out of it you will look back and wish you had applied wisdom.

Your emotions can control you and when acting in the flesh there is no limit to what you can do when angry because you are heated, you are feeding the flesh and you aren’t thinking logically and in turn those around you will also be affected by it.

“DONT LET THE SUN GO DOWN WHILE YOU ARE STILL ANGRY”-  Don’t let a day go by and you are still angry, when the sun goes down and night falls and we are still angry, chances are we will still feel that way the next day , hold grudges and live it out daily.

The sad thing is people look back and regret and wish they had handled things differently, but in the moment they weren’t thinking that way and let the day go by with the anger still intact. That is not the way and that doesn’t help anybody in the situation rather it makes it worse.

“FOR ANGER GIVES A FOOTHOLD TO THE DEVIL”- (GRIP – FOOTING)

Anger allows the devil to have a foothold in your life – so your anger opens you up to the traps of the devil, it’s in this manner that the devil is able to get a way in, to dictate your actions whilst in the anger mode, because you either have not dealt with that matter or prayed over it.

Once you are gripped by the devil, you are its tool and so to avoid that it is so important that we check ourselves daily, forgive and love easily and hold onto no grudges. We have God to help us and so we shouldn’t allow ourselves to fall short for what is most likely a temporary situation.
