10) REACHING OUT VIA SOCIAL MEDIA

DEAR FATHER,

Thank you for everything, for all that we know and continuing to learn along the way, despite what comes our ways we know we have you to lean on through the good and bad times. My prayer is that the social media platform and all the ways to connect will be used to function on the knowledge from the word of God to reach out to many who are in need of the word of God and need saving. When you use the platforms to reach out you are being a blessing to a wide scale audience by spreading the good news may we all continue to do this in the mighty name of God we pray and come into agreement.

                                                                    Halleluyah

When I was called into Ministry at first it was daunting and I felt as though I couldn’t do all that was expected of me, so I began to seek direction and learn more and pray to be aligned with the word of God, speak to those who are stronger in their walk, aware of the company I kept and moreover connecting with like-minded people on social media. It was good to have the right company around me but also good to connect to those who weren’t around me but I was able to learn from to apply with wisdom what I need to help progress in my walk along with speaking to them and encouraging them too.

With the social media, connections were formed to make others aware of this ministry alongside spreading the good news. The ministry blog was also set up and the newsletters as a way to spread the word and encouragement on various things women face.

With social media as well as many using it for bad, there is also a platform for those to use it for the good. Don’t let the bad stop you from reaching out to help others through the word, connect, pray and encourage each other.

SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS:

TWITTER

FACEBOOK

INSTAGRAM

BLOGGING

NEWSLETTERS

WEBSITE

AS WELL AS HAVING A PRAYER LINE AND CONTACT EMAIL

With all this also set up an askfm page where ladies and men were free to ask questions they wanted to, about anything and everything without their identity being known and feeling free to ask those questions without people judging as sadly it happens. If you have any questions and feel the same as those who can ask without being known the account is http://m.ask.fm/EUWM

With the social media platform it is always a really good way to network to connect with like-minded individuals on fire for God, to plan things together, make friends in the kingdom etc. It is a powerful platform when used for the work of God. I encourage you all to use it to spread the word as well as face to face.

You dont know who you can be a blessing to via social media, many are broken, discouraged, alone and weak.

God bless you all

9) CHANGES IN YOURSELF AND ENVIRONMENT

Dear Father,

Our lives are in your hands, you predestined our path way before we were conceived and your thoughts for us are not thoughts of evil but thoughts of good. I pray that even when we do not understand why things are happening, or why people are leaving our lives to just focus on you and trust in you to bring us through it all. I pray for us all to stand firm in your word to be encouraged and progress without the distractions that will cause us to lose focus from you. In your name I pray halleluyah

Change is real and constant, to receive salvation it is important we change our minds, repent daily and agree that God’s way is better than our way. Spiritual maturity comes when we let the Holy Spirit take control as opposed to self-control. Romans 12:2 ‘And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed changed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.’

CHANGES IN YOURSELF:

When we commit ourselves to God and surrender all to Him, we will no longer be the same people we once were, there is a change that consumes us to the extent where what we did in the world no longer befits the level He is taking us to and so we gradually let go of it all and stop.

HABITS

PLACES WE GO TO

FRIENDS WE HANG AROUND WITH

OUR SPEECH

OUR MINDSETS

All that makes us will begin to change and we will no longer be comfortable with things we once did. But learning to trust in God all the way is very important, God is great, just and faithful to help us along the way, we shouldn’t feel alone when we feel discomfort but really to trust in the process of change from who we once were to who we are now. To follow God we cannot follow Him how we were in the world. Deuteronomy 32:4 For I will proclaim the name of the LORD; ascribe greatness to our God! “The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.

God has made many promises and will always stick to what He says His word will never return back void.  Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfil it?

He is our rock and our salvation, always there to protect us, keep us, support and comfort us. Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

He does not change He is the same yesterday today and forever more, He does not lie and in all things has our best interest at heart. What I love about our Father is how patient and caring He is towards us, He knows that we may take long to be positioned to follow Him wholeheartedly, leaving the former ways and things that we once knew. To then cleave on to Him and all His promises. 2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slow to fulfil his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

What we have to remember is that God will never give us more than we can handle, He is always there with us at all times and has not gone on leave. Before we can even think of changing anything in the world, to make an impact and help build the kingdom, we need to allow changes in ourselves first, self-development is a daily thing and not a one off act. But needs continuous work. This is where self-checks come into practice daily to align yourself with what God is saying to you and what you ought to do in the kingdom.
Changing for the better once He has called you, will help strengthen your walk in Christ. It doesn’t make you a bad person, it shows growth in wanting more for yourself, stepping out of your comfort zones and learning more about what you need to work on within. Sadly many are afraid of change and choose to run away from it. Forgetting that change births new growth, a better mind-set, better understanding of the word, a better you, wisdom and elevation. It is important to make it a habit to change the internal as well as the external, this creates peace and good living rather than a cluttered spirit, no peace and confusion.

The power of positive thinking and a positive attitude is important to be great and successful in all you do, because a positive mind-set applied to everything brings a happier lifestyle.

When you work on changing your being your name too will change, you will no longer answer to the names they called you in the world but only the name He calls you and only accept how He sees you. Genesis 17:5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.

Genesis 32:28 Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

This is to encourage us all, that your current circumstance is not your final bus stop and there are better days ahead but you cannot stay in the same position in a comfort zone yielding no progress.

CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE- ENVIRONMENT (JOBS, FAMILY, FRIENDS):

Sadly with some they do not have anyone around them to overcome their tough times that is why whether through the transitioning stage or not is very important to be nice and friendly to others, because you do not know what they are passing through. To serve in the kingdom is to be accepting of everyone and how they are to speak life into them, help build them up and learn from one another.

Our environment at times can also play a big part in our movement, as well as being a positive influence can also be a negative one, if all you are surrounded by are negative people, be it friends as well as family that alone can dampen your spirit and how you view things as well as yourself. It then becomes easy to lose hope for not only yourself but your circumstances and future because it can rub off them to you and their bad company. All that they are battling with and more can corrupt your good manner 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived evil company corrupts good habits.

JOBS – There are some jobs that you will need to leave to move out of the comfort zone of going to work each day simply for money and material things. There are some jobs out there that play as part of a distraction rather than a purpose, whereas there are some jobs that serve as a lesson, a purpose and to equip you to step out to do what God has called you to do. Then for some there are jobs that God has called them into to serve in their calling. All jobs come with a different meaning to the person but it is important to realise that, that same job in some instances is what God will call you out of to go into your calling full time to walk in purpose with no distractions. You won’t be an employee for all your life eventually He will prepare you to step out of that job to serve Him full time.

FRIENDS – with friends, as we all know the ones we grew up with are not all in our lives right now, we outgrow those friends and we need to remember that there are people in our lives to serve one of the three purposes FOR A SEASON, A LIFETIME or a REASON. Not everyone can go to where God is taking us to so it is important that once you position yourself to align with God and walk in your purpose, to pray for those around you. That God will reveal to you who is and isn’t for you, so that you do not spend your time and effort for those in your life for a short while, while abandoning those who are in your life for a lifetime. Have your priorities straight in every part of your life including those you are around.

As well as changes within you, your job, friends etc also may involve for some, changes in their location Genesis 12:1-3 “Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.  And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonours you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Where God is taking you to it won’t be what you are used to at first, but better and you will need the time to adapt to what He wants for us and where He wants to take us to. But that will involve leaving behind baggage and familiarity because too much of that leaves you in one place with no growth doing the same things with no blessings or renewal of the mind-set. Which can be damaging to the soul.

YOU ARE NOT PERFECT AND A WORK IN PROGRESS, KEEP ON PRESSING ON

GOD BLESS

8) YOUR CHARACTER (II)

1 John 4:8 – He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. All this ties in again with love, you cant say you are a Christian but do not love, God is love and if you do not show love you are not a reflection of Him. GOD IS LOVE, NOT LOVE IS GOD. How love is seen and experienced in the world is not how love is experienced and seen in the kingdom there ought to be changes from the old to the new mind-set. Real love is not selfishness, mistreating others, love is SELFLESS. The real love we know is in the kingdom which surpasses the definition of worldly love. It is HOLY, PURE, JUST AND PERFECT, so when you really know who God is you will learn to love like He does.

Character is not selfishness, rudeness, two faced, weak, bitter, seeing yourself above others as if you’re perfect. DIE TO SELF and let the holy spirit fill you up to walk in accordance with what the word says and not what self says, self will lead you to destruction, delays, confusion and uncertainty. Do not rely on your own understanding: Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

God knows what is best for us, He is a better judge of character and knows all our needs, learn to fully trust in Him when it concerns every part of our being, our character, decisions, troubles, for clarity, wisdom, confidence, boldness etc. The last thing you should do is put up a self-centred character way of living to limit God and put Him after your decisions. He alone deserves the highest place in our lives and should not come second to anything or anyone regardless of how tough the situation or character change is, we ought to bring our decisions to God always willing to listen and be ready for improvement.

Sacrifice = Willing and obedient service to get the word out there, extend more love to His kingdom and to increase the gospel sharing..

Because the more you allow God to put you through the more He increases our ability to be presented to others, because the bigger the test the bigger the blessing.

Suffering = greatly anointed, you will be rejected isolated, mocked and made to feel low but each time such happens it’s another chance for God to equip you and build you up.

Patience = Romans 5:3-5 “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

I highlighted patience especially because that is an area that many of us struggle with, it is important for us to realise that in order to endure is to be patient as we go through the process to the next level. We always have to be prepared to receive but not at our times but when the time is right in God’s eyes to bless us.

There will be difficulties that will help in our growth and even though we do not like pain are to see it as building our character. All this is what will help in working on our patience as we turn to God and seek Him more to help us, with that requires a deeper, trust and understanding in God because our patience will always be tested but it is how you handle it that is your test.

When God has called you, with that comes tests, change, growth, and wisdom to endure and handle what comes your way. Many times those who aren’t built up to be encouraged are the ones who are the most confused and lost, they let what people say about them define their character, they open themselves up but not to receive the Holy Spirit but the different things people say about them and they act on it not realising how damaging it is to the soul. When you lose that way of living you will earn something greater in Christ, it opens you up to be filled with truth and not lies.

As you are entering into the new seasons remember that to enter into one you will be tested and that can either increase or limit your growth. Some are going round in circles and so lost they do not even realise it. Are you in purpose?? And who are you taking instruction from?? Our lives have better purpose than staying in our comfort zones, so do not get comfortable.
Invite God in to help you, you can only do so much for yourself before you let God. Confess healing, pray over your wounded souls and let God take over. He has the power to heal and is perfect in all His works in us, our inner deep souls is where we make our decisions so it is important to know the word and invite God in for the renewal of your soul, learn to have your spirit decluttered to be connected to God at all times. What is sad is that when people pass through experiences they let it control their thoughts and actions they become cold hearted, push God and people away, refuse correction, are bitter, hold grudges and walking around in pain inflicting it on others, because to them if they are hurt everyone should also feel their pain too.

Psalm 139:14 “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

We are unique, and the CHARACTER of God is in us all, so how we see ourselves is very important despite the challenges, people pushing you etc that sense of feeling useless, not good enough and weak should be broken and overtaken by His thoughts for us, we should love and respect ourselves how He does and as we do that we are expectant to receive change, softened hearts and sensitive spirits.

Food for thought:

  • Learn to ask God about yourselves

  • Ask God to show us how we really see ourselves

  • Remember our mind-sets are important don’t look to achieve what the world has but learn to be in the spiritual at all times.

  • What do we need to cast down?

  • Spiritual understanding and our mind-sets – the word is our mirror of understanding.

  • Break bad habits and thoughts process to break and mould us – where is our soul aligned? With God or with people?

  • Colossians 3:12-15 Character of the New Man. “Therefore, as theelect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

FINAL FOOD FOR THOUGHT:

  • Your character from a few years back is not how you are now

  • Your character is what aligns you with the word of God for growth

  • You cannot sort all your issues out alone

  • Do not be self- absorbed, as you help others God will help you and build you up

  • Do not look at yourself how you once were, renewal of the mind and intimacy with God will help your character

  • Be careful to not be the one sitting on your progress and growth

  • We are all a work in progress to build and help each other.

  • Do not refuse correction and alone time with God

  • You cannot run away from tests they are not a punishment- It is for our character to be refined, you will not always understand things and you are not perfect but still learning.

  • Remain humble and diligent in all your ways.

  • Faith, prayer, wisdom and patience is required

  • Do not be in denial about your problems take them up in prayers.

  • Despite the age, God can use anyone to bless you and help you

  • God is limitless do not fit Him inside your comfort zone refusing change

  • Pray over everything that happens

  • IN TESTS WE CANT FAST TRACK IT, BUT NEED TO ENDURE WHAT HE WANTS US TO PASS THROUGH TO ELEVATE.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL

7) YOUR CHARACTER (l)

YOUR CHARACTER – PART 1

Dear Father

Thank you for the gift of life, wisdom, growth, the pain we endure to refine us equip us teach us and elevate us. My prayer is that as your children we continue to walk in love, unity, boldness, humility and sensitivity in spirit. Halleluyah

First of all just take a minute to thank God for all that He is doing in our lives.

Romans 12:2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

OUR CHARACTER – OUR MIND – OUR BODY – OUR SOUL.

I want to share this word that’s been revealed to me in many ways over the last two weeks on CHARACTER. It was painful and I was stripped down  to the core to change and learn to be even more sensitive in spirit, in different ways to really delve deeper to my own character that could potentially block future blessings along with how I am with people. I am the sort of person who will feel no way cutting people off after disagreements and anger would get the better of me and I would find it hard to let people in to help me, advise me etc. But God is working on it and I am doing my part too and know change is coming soon.

No matter how many times a person may hurt you, disagreements you have and just clashing on what the walk in Christ is really about remember that all these things as annoying or hard to accept all contribute to testing of ones character. You have to see that how people see themselves is not how you see them they may think they are doing great but to you and others they are doing the wrong thing and hurting all those on their path without realising. That’s a character flaw they have to pray over and work on, no matter how mad we may get we have to be sensitive in spirit to connect to them and pray for God to use you to be a blessing in their life. You are not to judge them but to simply pray and help.

At times we need to look at how we respond to such people and let God reveal to us what we ourselves need to develop and work on in our own characters. Many are struggling with character flaws but whether in front of a few or many brush it aside because they feel they have to be “perfect” and nothing less.

Ask yourself these questions:

Do you take correction?

How do you act to correction?

Do you have anger/ pride issues?

How do you act when in uncomfortable situations?

What do you do when you are being tested?

When you serve do you serve walking in humility?

How well do you handle pain?

CHANGE IS THE ONLY THING IN LIFE THAT IS CONSTANT

I define character to be our being everything that makes us who we are, whether it be our attitude, mind-set, likes, dislikes etc and with that said lets take a look at Galatians 5:22-23 ‘But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.’

Walking in Christ means to walk with these characteristics in us, characteristics that are traceable to God and not man. The fruits of the spirit are to grow in us daily, as we know Him, learn from Him, imitate Him and learn from the lessons in our walk. To walk with these characteristics we ought to be a representation of the word aligned with it to be able to take correction, do the work in the kingdom and produce fruitful results. When we live with the fruits of the spirit within we become far better people than we were before and our hearts are pure and always ready to receive as well as being a doer in the kingdom.

But that is the problem there are many in the kingdom who say they are Christians but lack the fruits of the spirit. They do not walk in love, have no peace and so have cluttered spirits and closed ears that don’t hear the voice of God. Longsuffering to them is not seen as endurance but punishment from God in their eyes, they aren’t gentle and kind, lack faith because they move in the natural and are shaken by what they see, as opposed to moving in spirit to move in the supernatural to connect with God.

As Christians it is not enough to say that you are a Christian it is not a title to boast about, it is our being how we are, who we are, what we do, it is us surrendering and committing to God alone. Now if you aren’t walking in this God can build you up by speaking a word through people, our thoughts, discernment, fellowship songs or circumstances so long as you are willing to change, hear and receive He will surely intervene and move in all your ways.

One of the things we should avoid doing is hardening our hearts to correction, love, and obedience, as children of God all your ways must be submitted to Him, we cant grow to reach our best if we are clinging onto things and ways God is trying to save us from.

When you speak a word regarding your circumstance it brings you in line with God, to be positioned in all that you do to grow and help build the kingdom, when you surrender you are allowing your character to be moulded the manifestation of the word will move in your life and God will never abandon you. This is being sensitive in spirit, you have to understand that you are you, unique from everyone else and so you are the best version of you and that requires daily work in you it doesn’t stop and then you are perfect no it’s a gradual process to becoming who God wants you to be and nothing less. Pray to be spiritually mature so that you can have the right attitude to receive all this.

When we want things we are fast to go into prayer and ask God to bless us with our ‘wants’ but yet we are not even ready to receive, have not allowed work on our character and yet believe God to just keep meeting our needs. How you behave in the process brings about opportunities and blessings, so always work as though it is God you are serving no matter who the person is and no matter how long the wait is. Do not make it a habit to complain, act in disobedience or be rude because it is those actions that can delay your blessings.

Act according to the spirit of God, possess a spirit of excellence and embrace what you are blessed with at this current time believing God will increase you..

PART 2
